STREET FIGHTER BIG SCREEN TOURNAMENT
Running time: 150 mins
Get ready to FIGHT! We're putting classic video game Street Fighter where it belongs- on the BIG SCREEN! Join us at The Arc Cinema Blackpool on Saturday 17 October 1-3:30pm for a Knock-Out Tournament, in association with Blackpool Community Trust. Take on your opponents on the cinema screen, battle your way through the knock-out rounds and see if you've got what it takes to be crowned our Street Fighter champion! Entry is just £5 per player, with places strictly limited to 32 players, so book early to secure your place.
And the timing couldn't be better. The tournament lands the day after the brand-new Street Fighter movie hits cinemas on Friday 16 October. After proving yourself with a controller, see Ryu, Chun-Li, Ken and the gang brought to life on the biggest screen in the building, with Street Fighter showing in IMAX at The Arc Cinema Blackpool. Whether you're a seasoned fighter or just fancy going head-to-head with your mates, this is your chance to experience Street Fighter like never before. Choose your fighter. Take your place. Let battle commence!
This event is all about fun, nostalgia and chaotic bragging rights rather than serious esports competition. Casual players are strongly encouraged to enter. If you arrive with a headset, custom fight stick and a spreadsheet of frame data? you may have misunderstood the vibe.
